This policy describes how Midnight Atelier (“we”, “the app”) handles information when you use our mobile app, web admin tools, and related services.
What we collect
- Account data: email, name, optional profile fields you provide (college, course, interests, language preference), and authentication provider (email, Google, etc.).
- Usage & learning data: progress in the app (e.g. sessions, streaks, bookmarks, downloads) as needed to run features you use.
- Device tokens: if you enable notifications, a push token may be stored to deliver messages.
- Technical data: standard server logs, security events, and diagnostics to keep the service reliable.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate you, personalize study content (language, categories), operate books / newspapers / tests features, send transactional email (verification, account deletion confirmation), and improve stability and security. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention & deletion
We keep account data while your account is active. You may close your account yourself: after you confirm with a one‑time code sent to your email, we mark the account as deleted and revoke sign‑in. Some records may be kept in backups or logs for a limited time for security and legal compliance.
Third parties
We use infrastructure and service providers (for example: email delivery, cloud storage for uploads, OAuth providers for sign‑in). They process data only as needed to provide those services.
Your choices
- Update profile and preferences in the app where supported.
- Disable notifications to remove push token usage going forward.
